See all questionsA trading strategy is a set of rules that defines when a buy or sell signal is generated for a specific security. Automated means these rules are checked and evaluated by computer, around the clock.
No. You put your strategies together simply by drag & drop. You can combine and try out different indicators.
A backtest simulates the buys and sells that result from a specific strategy over historical data and shows you the profit or loss the strategy would have made over that period.
Trading indicators, usually just called indicators, are models that make it easier to spot favourable moments to buy and sell. Examples are the Relative Strength Index (RSI) or a stop-loss (SL).
There is a free Basic plan to get started. Premium, with more indicators per strategy, backtests over up to 10 years and unlimited notifications, costs €9.90 per month; with yearly billing you get 2 months free.
We use various established market providers for price and fundamental data as well as news and sentiment data. Price data is also checked for obvious errors and cleaned accordingly.
We rely on proven security standards, encryption and role-based access. We process personal data following the principle of data minimisation.
